Well, July was a normal summer month around the Warner house. Mom spent the month working mornings and supervising the rest of the day. The kids all found ways to play with friends, or catch up on inactivies. The boys both have friends with pools and spent more time away than at home. The girls have done lots of reading, or in Meredith's case lots of playing with the neighbors. My goal of getting to some needed housework and decluttering has only been partially acheived, but the summer isn't over yet. I have finished 2 prayer shawls and begun a lap robe. As for Don, business is good even in these tough times. People are doing more advertising of their businesses so he has plenty of work.

I'm also trying to decide what to do for the upcoming birthdays, A will be 21 and G will be 18. I really should do something to make them special. Poor J's 16th was a bit of a bust when only 1 friend was able to get away to the cottage with her, we may need a re-do for her also.

School starts in 10 days and this will be the first year that all the kids are in full time school. No more draging the preschooler around on errands during the day.

On a personal note, Moms In Touch has changed their leadership rolls and my position was eliminated. This means I had a choice of moving up into the Area Coordinator position, becoming a part of another AC's team or stepping down from MITI leadership. And the winner is . . . . . . . . . . . moving up to the Area Coordinator for southern McHenry County, IL. I will be doing some training for this position with the IL State Coordinator soon.

Finally, for any of my lady friends who visit this blog. PLEASE visit the Moms in Touch website to find an Arise! Cry Out! event in your area and register to be a part of this exciting prayer event on November 14th. (momsintouch.org)

Next time we should be all back to school and busy with homework and school activities.

God Bless you my friend.
Denise
